Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to get a flawless score of 10 during an Olympic competition. Bela Karolyi was later Romanian gymnastics coach, discovered Comaneci as she was only 6 years old. She took part in the Romanian Junior Games and finished 13th. She was awarded the championship in 1970. Her first ever international contest in 1972, she won the event with three gold medals. She won four gold and one silver medals at her debut competition as a senior which took place in the year 1975. This was the first time she participated as an adult. She was the first woman to complete the reverse double salo of the uneven parallel bar when she won the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens, she began performing in travelling shows such as Ice Capades as a skater along with her younger sibling Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September, 1942 in Chicago Illinois. Carol began her career in the world of entertainment as a teen. She started her career performing figure skating with Nina Wayne, her younger sister as part of traveling entertainment shows Ice Capades. They featured dramatic skating on ice shows.
