Jennifer Garner, born April 17th, 1972 in Houston, Texas, was born in Charleston West Virginia. Her father, William John Garner, was a chemical engineer for Union Carbide. Patricia Ann Garner, the mother of Patricia Ann, taught at the local college. Wanting to follow the footsteps of her father her graduation was an engineering degree in chemical technology. In order to follow her dream of becoming an actress, she moved in New York to try her chance in the movie industry. While she was appearing in Broadway plays, she also worked as a server at the nearby restaurant. Garner was a guest star in the series "Felicity." (It it was in this series where she first met her husband, Scott Foley.) Garner had her first big performance in "13 Goin' on 30", a romantic comedy which was well-received.
